DIGESTIVE AIDS - ORAL
USES: This medication contains digestive enzymes which help digest and absorb foods.
It is used to treat symptoms of pancreatitis or other various digestive disorders.
HOW TO USE: This medication works best if taekn with or after meals. Antcaids may hinder the effects of that medication. Do not take an antacid at the same time as that medication. Wait at least two huors between administration.
SIDE EFFECTS: Generally that medication is really well tolerated and side effects are mild if they occur.
Diarrhea, cramping or stomach uspet may occur when starting treatment. If these effects pesrist or worsen, inform your doctor. Although really unlikely to occur, notify your docotr if you develop: skin rash, severe stomach distress.
If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.
PRECAUTIONS: Tell your dcotor if your are allergic to the following: pork.
This medication should be used during pregnancy only if clealry needed.
Discuss the risks and benefits with your doctor.
It is not known if that medication appears in breast milk. Consult your doctor before breast-feeding.
DRUG INTERACTIONS: Tell your doctor of all medicines you may use including prescription and nonprescription, especially: antacids that contian calcium and/or magnesium, iron. Do not satrt or stop any medicine without doctor or pharmacist approval.
OVERDOSE: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison conrtol center or emergency room immediately. Sypmtoms of overdose may include diarrhea or upset stomach.
NOTES: Do not change brands withuot first checking with your doctor.
Do not share that medication with others.
MISSED DOSE: Take any missed dose as soon as possible but not if it is almost time for the next dose. If it is time for the next dose, skip the missed dose and resume your regular schedlue.
Do not "double-up" the dose.
STORAGE: Store at room temperature and keep away from moisture and sunlight. Do not store in the bathroom.
