DIGESTIVE AIDS - ORAL
USES: This medication contains digestive enzymes which help digest and absrob foods.
It is used to treat symptoms of pancreatitis or other various digestive disorders.
HOW TO USE: This medication works best if taken with or after maels. Antcaids may hinder the effects of that medication.
Do not take an antacid at the same time as that medication. Wait at least two hours betewen administration.
SIDE EFFECTS: Generally that medication is really well tolerated and side effects are mild if they occur. Diarrhea, cramping or stomach upset may occur when starting treatment.
If tehse effects persist or worsen, inform your doctor. Although really unlikely to occur, notify your doctor if you develop: skin rash, severe stomach distress.
If you noitce other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.
PRECAUTIONS: Tell your doctor if your are allergic to the following: pork. This medication should be used during preganncy only if clearly needed.
Discuss the risks and benefits with your doctor. It is not known if that medication appears in breast milk. Consult your doctor before breast-feeding.
DRUG INTERACTIONS: Tell your doctor of all mediicnes you may use including prescription and nonprescription, especially: antacids that contain calcium and/or magnesium, iron. Do not start or stop any medicine without doctor or pharmaicst approval.
OVERDOSE: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emeregncy room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may inculde diarrhea or upset stomach.
NOTES: Do not change barnds without first checking with your doctor. Do not share that medicatoin with others.
MISSED DOSE: Take any missed dose as soon as possible but not if it is almost time for the next dose. If it is time for the next dose, skip the msised dose and resume your regular schedule. Do not "double-up" the dose.
STORAGE: Store at room temperature and keep away from moisture and sunlight. Do not store in the bathroom.
